The Councilor for Citizen Security, Belén Pérez, has announced the Secondary Road Education Plan that is being developed by the Administrative Security Unit of the Local Police of Lorca.

Perez said that "this Plan is aimed at students of 3rd grade ESO and Basic Vocational Training of all secondary education centers in Lorca. In the same participate as a Teaching Team a sergeant, a corporal and five agents and collaborate To make it possible APANDIS and Challenge I Can Yes ".

"Specifically," said Perez, "1,000 students have the opportunity to know the risks that may arise when we are part of the movement. A video on moped driving, among other strategies, will be projected for this purpose. "

Specifically as regards the driving of mopeds, students are taught about their set-up and handling, the relevant protection elements, types of motorcycle, rules and advice on driving (traffic, turns, overtaking, braking, cornering, Etc.), prohibition of alcoholic beverages, necessary and safe documentation.

The presentation of the Road Education Plan has been preceded by the staging of a traffic accident so that the students could see the consequences of them in situ.

In fact, as explained by Edil, "one of the most important objectives of the Plan is that young people know the personal consequences, both physical and mental, that people who have had an accident, as well as the families of the injured" .
