The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, chaired the extraordinary session of the Town Hall Plenary which has addressed the recovery of the historic center.

All municipal groups have unanimously approved the following agreements:

That the Department of Employment and Works to inform the plenary of the score obtained in the Resolution of September 29, 2016, of the Ministry of Budgets and Expenditures, which grants the first call for selection Of Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development Strategies (EDUSI), co-financed through the FEDER Operational Program for Sustainable Growth 2014-2020, convened by Order HAP / 2427/2015, of November 13;

As well as the criteria of punctuation, the allegations presented by this City, and the measures to be adopted to improve the request of Lorca in the face of the next calls.

To show the support of the Municipal Corporation and to offer the necessary assistance of all the Municipal Groups of this City Council to the Government team to improve the proposal of Lorca in the next calls of EDUSI in order to reach the objectives of recovery of the Historical Center of our City.

Within the Service for the Management and Collection of Aids and Grants, approved in plenary session of January 25, 2016, special attention is given to all subsidies and aid of a public nature that may be potentially useful for the recovery of the Helmet History of Lorca, and encourage in this sense the participation of private initiative.

The Special Plan for the Protection and Integral Rehabilitation of the Historical Center of Lorca (PEPRI) is now in an advanced state of review, and a commission or monitoring body is set up within it, in which they can be integrated Qualified technicians, in order to be a specialized body that can be heard and consulted, and can issue timely assessments on compliance with the PEPRI and defense of the Cultural Heritage of Lorca.

That through the Department of Recovery of the Historic District, impel and finalize as soon as possible the drafting of a Working Document or Draft Working Paper that makes possible, through the Sectorial Council for the Recovery of the Historic Center of Lorca that will be Constituted for the purpose, the drafting of a definitive project of Strategic Plan that involves with its execution the integral recovery of the Historical Center of our city.

Request that the Mayor-Presidency, in the exercise of its powers, delegate and concentrate those direct powers regarding the empowerment and recovery of the historic center of Lorca in the council that is already created for this purpose (Department of Heritage and Recovery of Historic Town) , Granting coordination and / or resolution capacity with the other councils involved, including the following subjects;

The future Strategic Plan for the recovery of the historic center of Lorca, the current Master Plan for the Recovery of the Cultural Heritage of Lorca, implementation and development of the new PEPRI, Patronage, urban planning in the protected perimeter and, in general, To the development and recovery of our historical center.
