The Councilor for Information Society in the City of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martinez, has reported that the Municipal Council has redesigned its Transparency Portal to expand the direct information on the Local Administration to which all citizens can access.
It is an improvement that provides Lorca with resources, services and information on practically all administrative procedures, data on economic management, budget evolution and employment relationships, among other issues.
The Mayor of the Information Society explained that the new design contributes to consolidate one of the main objectives of the Consistory, such as deepening transparency and direct relationship with citizens.
It is about defining a City Council that, in terms of management and information, have glass walls.
In this way all citizens who want to know the multiple processes that are developed can obtain the information simply by accessing the internet.
Martínez Carrasco has highlighted as main novelties, the fact of having a new design, more functional and fully adapted to mobile phones and tablets.
The new Portal has a specific section that provides information about the members of the corporation, including data such as the area they are responsible for, referral e-mail, social networks, remuneration, declaration of assets and biography.
The Transparency Portal includes all the information about the relation of jobs of the City, the data of people and associations that receive any type of subsidy by the City, the degree of execution of the budget, the budgetary modifications that are carried out to term , As well as the evolution of municipal debt, among other issues.
The Edil de Information Society has also highlighted that thanks to this new version of the portal facilitates the consultation of data that may be of interest to citizens.
These resources are offered from a more intuitive perspective, with new explanatory graphs, on budgets, evolution of expenses, debt ... In the section dedicated to contracting is available all the information related to the processes of municipal bidding and adjudication, as well as the modifications of Contracts, waivers and waivers, information on the main works, and even the minutes of the hiring tables.
The portal of transparency allows to consult the minutes of the plenary sessions, as well as the full recordings of the sessions, in addition to the agreements taken at the Local Government Board.
