This generous contribution reinforces the response in health care and improves the safety of different sports infrastructures throughout the municipality.

The defibrillators will be installed in the Artés Carrasco, Football City Ángel María Villar de La Hoya, Alfonso Embarre, World '82 and in the Felipe VI Sports Complex, La Torrecilla, San José, Alamedas and San Antonio, among others

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, received this morning from the President of the Federation Murciana de Fútbol, ​​José Miguel Monje Carrillo, 18 defibrillators that will be allocated to different sports facilities throughout the municipality of Lorca, a generous contribution that reinforces Our response in health care and improves the safety of municipal sports facilities.

Francisco Jódar has stated that "having a defibrillator in a facility can save lives, so clear and so resounding." There are numerous cases in which an athlete has been able to survive thanks to one of these cardiopulmonary resuscitation devices. The Federación Murciana de Fútbol once again demonstrates its firm commitment not only to regional sport, but also to society. Through this ambitious campaign, they are going to deliver 300 new defibrillators to fields and sports halls throughout Murcia".

The Mayor of Lorca explained that "as it could not be otherwise, the Federation again makes clear its great collaboration with the city of Lorca, delivering us 18 defibrillators that will make 18 sports facilities" cardioprotected "spaces. Such as Francisco Artés Carrasco, City of Soccer Angel María Villar de La Hoya, Alfonso Embarre or World Cup '82 will have these gadgets, and we will also have them in pavilions, beyond football fields, such as the Felipe Sports Complex VI, Torrecilla, San José, Alamedas and San Antonio, among others. From the City of Lorca we promise to signalize each of the defibrillators as well as to train the necessary personnel so that they can be used in case of need.

Jódar recalled that "there is a close and fertile relationship between our municipality and the Federation that has repercussions on joint actions in favor of local sport as was the signing of the Agreement for the amateur football league to be part of the activities of the Federation or the Agreement so that the referees could make use of the municipal sports facilities or the support to the base soccer and the feminine soccer. Today they return to remember of Lorca through this so important donation that allows us to exponentially improve the security of the municipal sports facilities ".

The First Edil, lastly, wanted to thank President Monje Carrillo and the entire Federation for demonstrating once again his commitment to Lorca and to all Lorca.

But if necessary, the local sports facilities will be "cardioprotected" spaces and will have the appropriate tools thanks to the generous collaboration of the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia.
