Virgin of the Dolores with an extension of its exhibition space and a new temporary exhibition] | With this addition of several rooms located in the upper part of the church of San Francisco, the Blue Museum of the Holy Week consolidates like one of the spaces Exhibitions in the country |

The exhibition will be inaugurated this Thursday at 20 hours in the Hall of Temporary Exhibitions and will be available to visitors until next March 19

The President of Paso Azul, José María Miñarro, and the President of the Paso Azul Foundation, Andrés Espinosa, along with the President of the Association of Our Lady of Sorrows and Our Lady's Waitress, Joaquina Gil, presented some of the Activities that will energize the MASS on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the arrival in Lorca of the stature of the Stma.

Virgen de los Dolores de Capuz. The main initiative is the expansion of the exhibition space of the Blue Museum of Holy Week, where it adds five rooms to the existing ones.

On the one hand, the choir of the Church, where you will be able to observe jewels of the blue patrimony like the ancient throne of the Virgin of the Dolores realized by the famous goldsmith Sevillian Marmolejo Camargo - on which the black cloak will be exposed -, the present pallium , Nazarenes of the Virgin, one of the side panels of the Cristo Yacente, instruments and different objects of the procession of the Virgin.

All of this will be enlivened by Bach music. Access to the choir will be made by four rooms located in the steps that crown the chapels on the right side of the church of San Francisco, connecting the second floor of the museum with the choir.

Visitors will find information on the state of the blue heritage following the earthquakes and the process followed to restore it, the process of creating the MASS, music, old documents of great value and the old clock installed in the tower of San Francisco.

The exhibition space has also been redistributed in the second floor of the MASS, where garments of the Virgin of the Dolores will be shown.

On the other hand, there has been a temporary exhibition - commissioned by Matilde Gimeno - that will show all kinds of elements related to the arrival of the Virgin, unique documents, paintings, robes, Nazarenes and a video that will tell the story of the Holder of the Blue Pass.

It is worth mentioning the special attention given to José Capuz, sculptor of the Virgin, on which diverse images and information will be displayed.

The exhibition will be open until next March 19 at the same time as the Blue Museum of Holy Week. Miñarro has emphasized that with these inaugurations the Blue Passage aims to commemorate the way it deserves this special anniversary, since it is not only A special date for the Blues but for all the people of Lorca, who in this way will have the opportunity to know the circumstances of the arrival of the beautiful image sculpted by Hood, one of the most important chapters in the history of the Brotherhood of Labrador .

In addition, the President of Paso Azul recalled that both activities will be inaugurated this Thursday at 20 hours in the Blue Museum of Holy Week, revitalizing the culture in our municipality again offering a dense programming of high quality.
