26 companies submit an offer to build the new vessel for urban waste, which will involve an investment of 5.5 million euros and will have a capacity of 1.5 million m3 (10/03/2017)

Councilman responsible for the Municipal Cleaning Company, LIMUSA, Fulgencio Gil has reported that a total of 26 construction companies have submitted an offer to carry out the construction of the third cell, and closure and sealing of the second, solid waste landfill Urban buildings of Lorca.

The Edil de Limusa explained that yesterday the Bureau of Recruitment established for this purpose was the opening in a public act of the economic proposals made by the finalists that complied with the technical and administrative specifications of the tender dossier.

The Edil de Limusa has anticipated that the next step of the Contracting Bureau is to evaluate the bids submitted to provisionally award the work.

This process will be done taking into account the scale pre-established in the contract specification and that all companies know in advance.

This will be contracted with the most economic proposal (except in the case of detection of reckless casualties).

It is, therefore, an open procedure and full transparency.

The aforementioned cell 3 of the rejection vessel represents a volume of land that makes it possible to have 1.5 million cubic meters of capacity for the discharge of the non-recoverable fraction of domestic waste.
