These grants may be applied consecutively for a course longer than that provided for in the academic duration of the corresponding university studies.

However, that period may be extended if there are exceptional and objective circumstances alleged by the applicant in his application.

It will be up to the Department of Education to propose, reasonably, the admission or denial of such request.
