More than 1,420 stories have participated in the XXXII Child Story Contest "Mª Fernández-Luna Prize" for children and elementary school students (21/04/2017)

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, gave this morning at the Cultural Center of the City the prizes of the XXXII Children's Story Contest "María Fernández-Luna Prize", organized by the Network of Municipal Libraries of Lorca and in which students participate Of Infant and Primary Education.

Francisco Jodar highlighted that "1.417 individual stories of Primary Education and 9 groups of Early Childhood Education, which involves a participation of more than 1,600 students, have been presented, coming from 15 schools throughout the municipality. As many and many students practice writing in the municipality and, in addition, they do it with great dexterity.The awards ceremony was held this morning coinciding with the activities programmed by the Department of Education and the Municipal Library Network on the occasion of the Day World Book. "

The prize for the best collective work for children's classroom has been in the work "The treasure of Lorca" of the students of 4 years of CEIP Andrés García Soler.

In the category destined to students of 1st and 2nd year of Primary Education, the first prize has been for Ana García Gallego, from CEIP Pasico-Campillo, for the work "The nose of Cubito".

Second prize for Francisco José Lucas Martínez, from San Francisco College, for "We are all superheroes".

"The magic dentist" by Carla García Méndez, student of the Madre de Dios College, will receive the third prize.

In this category there have been two finalists: Ali Belazghem Martínez, Andrés García Soler, "El gran panzón" and Aitana Martínez Calvis, from San Francisco College, for "El niño maravilla".

In the category of 3rd and 4th elementary students, the first prize was "La Engracia" by Lola Fernández Castellote, from Colegio Ciudad del Sol. "The adventure of animals" by David Navarro Piernas, CEIP Narciso Yepes, has won the second prize.

The third prize went to Paula Morales López, from CEIP Pasico-Campillo, for "A fantastic day".

The finalists have been, in this order, Jonathan Copa Quisque, from CEIP Villaespesa, for "The Mouse Acute" and Javier Burgos Carayol, from the San José School, for "The Tales of Amador".

As for the winners in the category for 5th and 6th grade Primary students, the winner was Francisco Giménez Guirao, from the Madre de Dios College, for "Ramón, the mouse astronaut".

The narrative "The cure of Alex" by Daniel Oliver Parra, student of CEIP Pasico-Campillo, has been recognized with the second prize.

"The other side of the sea" by Lorena Segura Soto, student of CEIP Narciso Yepes, is the third prize.

"A sea full of life" by David Navarro Vera, CEIP Narciso Yepes, is the first finalist, while the second is "One afternoon in the cortijo" by Carlos Martínez García, Colegio Ciudad del Sol.

As for the students of Primary Education with Special Educational Needs, the first prize has been shared among the first grade students of the Andrés García Soler School, "El niño y el loro" by Fran Jiménez Pérez and "Tom y Juan" By José Miguel Hernández Plazas.

The special illustration award has been for Juan Pedro Lirón García, from CEIP Pasico-Campillo, for his work "El tío de Carlos".
