The Councilor for Tourism of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, informed that this Sunday April 23 will be held in the Fortress of the Sun activity "Going out with art in Castillo de Lorca" in which any lorquin or visitor can become Artist for a day and paint his own work of art in just 2 hours.

The Cafeteria "Las Caballerizas del Castillo" will be the place where a professional artist will guide them so that step by step they create a work of art that at the end of the event can be taken home.

It is not a kind of painting, it is a meeting where they will show how to create a work of art, while enjoying a coffee or a refreshment, surrounded by people who share an interest in painting.

To do this activity is not necessary to have experience and are included all the materials: canvas, painting, brushes ... On this occasion the work to be reproduced will be "The Girl of the Umbrella", inspired by the works of Afremov that can then be taken home .

The event starts at 11:30 am on Sunday and lasts approximately two hours.
