Francisco Jodar: "the work we have developed to recover our monuments is a proud heritage that the next generation of Lorca will enjoy" (28/04/2017)

The Mayor places the recovery of the historic center as an immediate priority in the process of rehabilitating monumental heritage affected by earthquakes.

So far almost 64.5 million have been invested in the master plan for recovery of the estate

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, has said that the work that Lorca have developed to recover our monuments is a proud heritage that will enjoy the next generations of Lorca.

The earthquake seriously damaged our historic heritage, turning our monuments into rubble.

Lorca has had to work to recover this situation, and I think we have done well.

We collected a ruined heritage, and we will bequeath to the next generations of Lorca the monuments in the best state of our history.

Francisco Jódar has defended that this process, which has been supported through the master plan of recovery, is a reference at international level, since in recent history no population had faced such a disaster of patrimony.
