These are the actions planned within the program for the promotion of agricultural employment and the innovative project "Lorca Efficient".
Both projects contemplate a joint investment of 783,115.20 euros.
The Councilor for Local Development in the City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra, has informed that the Municipal Consistory is going to start soon the program of Promotion of Agrarian Employment, framed within the District Councils.
Lali Ibarra said that this program has a duration of 3 months and will involve the hiring of a total of 55 agricultural laborers and 8 foremen, thanks to a joint investment of the Employment and Training Service and the City Council which amounts to the total amount of 275,000 euros.
The Edil de Empleo has explained that this project contemplates two fundamental sections.
The first one will deal with the cleaning and adaptation of the area of ​​the heads of the San Roque, San Pedro, San Lázaro, San Juan, Santa María and San Cristóbal highlands, as well as Los Peñones, Señoritas y Chatas , As well as the bicycle lanes of the old highway of Eagles Purias and the one that communicates San Antonio with La Torrecilla.
We are talking about a performance in which they will work 4 foremen and 28 pawns, and to which it destines an amount of 140,000 euros.

The Councilor for Local Development has indicated that the Consistory has obtained a grant of 468,115.20 euros by the Employment and Training Service of CARM, which, together with a municipal contribution of 40,000 euros, will enable the completion of the joint program Employment and Training "Lorca Efficient".
It is a program that will benefit 32 students over 25 years old, as well as 4 monitors.
Ibarra López stressed that the project consists of theoretical and practical training.
The student-workers will formalize a training contract, for which they will charge the interprofessional minimum wage (€ 825.65 / month).
This program will start on May 15, and will remain in force until May 14, 2018. The duration of the internships includes minor works of general and social interest such as partition walls, enclosures, repair of plumbing installations, heating-air conditioning in: La Torrecilla sports complex;
San Antonio Sports Complex;
Visitor Center of La Merced;
As well as in the different buildings of municipal ownership that are detailed in the project.
