The municipal group of Citizens will again present at the June plenary session the motion for the creation of the Women's Sectorial Council, which was rejected by the government team at the March plenary this year.
Councilman Antonio Meca called the attitude of Lali Ibarra and his colleagues in the local government "incomprehensible" for rejecting a proposal that was very necessary for the women's group, a fact confirmed two months later when the Mayor himself and the new Councilor for Equality announce that they will launch this Sectorial Council, implicitly acknowledging their need and the error committed in the March plenary when they rejected it.
Antonio Meca expects "explanations from the government team and in any case to add to our motion and correct the error that led to the (luckily) exconcejal of the woman Lali Ibarra, who put his personal enmity with this Councilor who proposed , Above the needs of women. "
Mecca recognizes in this sense the change of mood of the new government team and the good predisposition of the Councilor for Equality.
"Rectify is wise" adds the mayor of Citizens.
