The Councilor for Tourism in the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, has encouraged all Lorca and visitors to enjoy the summer nights in the castle of the city, one of the most spectacular enclaves of the Spanish Levante, which offers a privileged panoramic Of the Valley of the Guadalentín, and that offers a refuge before the torrid days of the summer.
The offer that is made available to citizens includes every Thursday and Saturday of the month of July from 20:30 an extraordinary range of possibilities.
The Edil de Turismo has indicated that you can enjoy dinner on the terrace of "Las Caballerizas del Castillo de Lorca", an activity available every Thursday and Saturday in July at 21:30 with a menu of tapas that you can book and Buy online, enjoying a healthy, simple and local cuisine.
Francisco Montiel noted that the guided tours called "The sunset of history" are also launched, which will be held every Thursday and Saturday of July at 20:30.
A specialized guide will explain the remains of the Jewish Quarter and the Synagogue and climb to the highest point of the city, the Torre Alfonsina, with breathtaking views of the Guadalentín Valley and spectacular sunsets.
It should be noted that the Fortress of the Sun also offers family-staged visits titled "The Guardian of the Stars".
This is an initiative aimed at the smallest of the house to be held on Thursdays and Saturdays at 9:00 pm, including a tour of the castle trying to help the guardian recover the joy of the stars of the summer sky.

This will be done by the group Lorca Akanda.
Also within the section "Sounds Stronghold" in the Festival "Trends, Summer Fest Lorca 17" organized by the Department of Culture and Festivities there will be concerts on 7 (The Secrets), 21 (Loquillo), 22 (Miguel Poveda) and 28 Of July (Chambao and Muchachito Bombo Infierno) in the courtyard of arms of the castle.
