The case of the abandoned house squatting on Calle Soler, in the middle of Casco Histórico, adds to the laziness and neglect that invades our Historical Center, and leaves such pitiful images as the accumulation of garbage daily at the Alonso X, Fernando the Saint and Father Morote.
The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, David Romera has invited the new councilor of Potentiación del Casco Histórico to walk around the center of the city and "start to make decisions now."
The mayor has urged the council of the PP to work to improve the urban image of the historic center as they continue to do nothing to ensure the circumstances conducive to it is a tourist center.
David Romera demands the Popular Party to increase cleaning services in the surroundings of the Historic District, while calling for the use of garbage containers to be regulated, to avoid images of "crowded containers" in the eyes of any passerby.
David Romera says that it is a shame that "daily" lorquinos and visitors have to attend the "painful image" of seeing our historic center, the jewel of our heritage, in "deplorable" conditions, and not only for abandonment And the ruin of many facades and historic buildings, but by the evident lack of cleaning and maintenance of the main streets.
An example of so many that we find daily in the Historic Quarter, you can see every night at the intersection of Alonso X, Fernando el Santo and Padre Morote streets.
In this specific case, David Romera assures that the neighbors "complain daily" about the inconvenience caused by the accumulation of garbage throughout the day, and especially from the afternoon.
The mayor denounces the consequences that this accumulation of litter causes by the proliferation of bad smells, insects, especially by the temperatures that these days are reached.
