The Senate unanimously approves an initiative of the PSOE for the construction of the Palace of Justice of Lorca (04/07/2017)

Juan Luis Soto Burillo, promoter of this initiative, is convinced that with this infrastructure will revive economic and social history of Lorca, will be allowed to centralize the courts and other judicial dependencies of this judicial party, will facilitate the work of all Professionals of the Law and of the Justice and the implementation of the systems of digital communication, that so many problems are generating at the present time.

The Senate Justice Committee unanimously adopted a compromise amendment signed by all parliamentary groups to a motion drafted by the PSOE urging the Government to provide the necessary financial means to complete the Commitments already acquired for the construction of the Palace of Justice of Lorca.

The document finally approved on the basis of the motion presented by the socialists states that in this year, 2017, the following actions are carried out: culminate within one month the writing, supervision and completion of the project;

To initiate within a period of one month the formalities necessary for the award of the works in the shortest possible time;

And, finally, undertake the construction of the Palace of Justice of Lorca in the second half of 2017.

During his speech, Juan Luis Soto Burillo, senator for Murcia and promoter of this initiative, has shown that the construction of the Palace of Justice of Lorca is a "historical demand" of legal professionals and lawyers - lawyers, lawyers , Prosecutors, judges, prosecutors - and the whole of Lorca society, as well as the citizens of Aguilas and Puerto Lumbreras, who are part of the judicial party of Lorca, and has criticized that the ads have been repeated to the party's hype Popular and the Government of Rajoy, accompanied by false promises and continuous breaches.

Lastly, Juan Luis Soto Burillo concluded by recalling the "insufficient" budget allocated by the Government to this infrastructure in the 2017 PGEs and has shown his confidence that with the unanimous agreement, reached today in the Justice Commission of the Senate, at the initiative of the Socialist Group, "we hope that, once and for all and after all the promises not fulfilled, the Government will start work before the end of 2017.
