PSOE, IU and Citizens demand the Mayor to park their party interests, defend the professionals and users of the Early Warning Center of Lorca and, in compliance with the agreements adopted unanimously in the last plenary, do everything possible to leave without Effect the draft that the Popular Party wants to impose by Decree and with which it is against public, universal, free and quality Early Care.
The municipal groups of PSOE, IU-Greens and Citizens in the City of Lorca have joined in defense of the model of Early Care consolidated in the municipality of Lorca, before the threat of the Regional Government of PP to want to impose in an "imminent" and By Decree a draft that does not meet the consensus or participation of professionals and groups involved in Early Care, in order to regulate this "basic and fundamental" public service for thousands of people in the Region of Murcia.
PSOE, IU-Greens and Citizens have demanded the Mayor of Lorca to do everything possible to "defend and respect" the agreements adopted in the last Plenary of the City of Lorca, in which all parties, including the PP, agreed to urge the Regional Government to encourage meetings with these groups in order to agree a new draft that met the maximum degree of consensus, and to leave "without effect" the draft that wants to impose the Violante Minister Tomás, with which they attempt "against Early Attention Public, universal, free and of quality ".
The PSOE councilor Andrea Periago has demanded the Mayor to press his colleagues in the region to paralyze the approval of this Decree that the Regional Government is trying to advance "with premeditation, night and treachery."
The Socialist mayor says that it is intolerable that the PP, with its counselor Violante Tomás at the head, is offering declarations assuring that its Decree has the consensus of the groups involved "when the reality is not so."
In addition, he denounces that the PP wants to clearly impose its model of regulation of Early Care "by Decree" rather than through an Act "that can pass through the Regional Assembly for discussion and vote."
For its part, the councilor of IU-Greens, Adoración Peñas has demanded explanations to the Mayor of Lorca before what he considers a real "fraud" to professionals and users of Early Warning in Lorca, considering it "inexplicable" that what he does A couple of weeks unanimously approved all the parties, today the PP neither respects nor defends it.
The mayor says that the PP shows with this behavior that their support of two weeks ago was "facing the gallery" and that "they felt cornered by the social and citizen pressure exerted by the groups involved in the defense of Early Care in the town".
The mayor has been convinced that the PP in Lorca was perfectly aware of the intention of his party to approve, imminently, this regional decree.
Antonio Meca has reproached the PP of Lorca for his attitude "complex", incapable of vindicating and defending the interests of professionals and users of Early Care before a regional government "deaf" to the demands of citizens and institutions such as the City of Lorca.
The mayor of Citizens has demanded the councilors of the PP in Lorca that for once are able to park party interests, and put ahead the needs of the groups and professionals involved.
