The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Andrea Periago has claimed the increase of cleaning and maintenance in the area of ​​leisure and recreation installed in the rambla of Las Señoritas in the neighborhood of La Viña.
During the last months, residents and users of these facilities complain about the accumulation of garbage, and the delay on the part of the City of Lorca in the necessary removal of waste that is generated especially during the weekends.
As can be seen in the extensive photographic report that accompanies this complaint, Periago has made known the saturation of wastebaskets and containers, the accumulation of garbage in the environment or dirt on benches, parterres and kitchens.
In short, he is concerned about the fact that because of the neglect of the governing party of the Popular Party these idyllic facilities are not offering their best image to users.
Periago recalled that, in addition, during the next weekend this area will host the VI Peñarrubia Trail Lorca, so from the PSOE special emphasis is placed on adapting this "wonderful environment" as well as guaranteeing cleaning tasks for well-being of the participants, as well as of neighbors and visitors.
Periago says that this current image of dirt and neglect "can in no way be compatible with the image that Lorca must project, especially these days that we will be the scene of the visit of thousands of people in this solidarity test."
At the same time, and in the interest of a better coexistence, Andrea Periago also wanted to make a call to civic, to guarantee among all the conservation of this environment that serves as a space for leisure and recreation of Lorca.
