The PSOE denounces a new wave of thefts during this last weekend in the districts of Cazalla, Pulgara and Campillo (11/09/2017)

Sánchez Jódar said that the situation of lack of protection during the last hours is of special "seriousness" and asks the current Mayor to take this situation seriously and demand the Government Delegate to strengthen security in districts with the presence of Reservation Groups and Security of the Civil Guard (GRS), especially during these weeks of fair and holidays

The Vice-spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Marisol Sánchez Jódar has denounced a new wave of robberies during the last weekend in districts.

In particular, the Municipal Socialist Group has been aware, through different neighbors and groups, that several houses in Cazalla, Pulgara and Campillo were sacked during the past weekend.

Sánchez Jódar says that this situation, due to the inaction of the Popular Party, has become a "constant refusal" that week after week is putting "in check" the tranquility of the neighbors, especially those who reside in districts.

From the PSOE say that this situation "is going out of hand" to the current Mayor, so they ask him to demand the Government Delegate, from the same party, the "personal and technical means" needed in matters of citizen security .

The socialist mayor warns Gil Jódar to "take seriously" the situation of "special gravity" that is being lived in districts in the last hours.

For this reason, and especially in view of the fair season and parties, they ask the current Mayor to require a Government Delegation to strengthen security, providing these areas with the presence of the Civil Guard's Reserve and Security Groups , for preventive surveillance work.

According to some of the testimonies of affected neighbors, the majority happened while the owners of these homes were away from home.

This situation increases the concern and the uncertainty among the neighbors, who assert that the lack of protection is such that the cacos "bell to their wide" by the districts since "they know perfectly the movements of the neighbors".

"This past night they have again robbed Cazalla, the police tell me to report anything we see, even if we think it is not important." They think that the friends of others who spent last night for Cazalla were in a black Volskwagen Passat. that if you see something strange, immediately call the rural patrol of the Local Police. "

"Pass it to Whatsapp groups that have Cazalla neighbors. It's important that we communicate whatever we see."

These are some of the messages that circulate among Whatsapp groups created this summer, where the neighbors themselves also consider the possibility of doing surveillance patrols themselves, with the risk that this would entail.

It is, in short, a graphic example more than that the robberies in houses of districts have not left a truce and have continued happening during the last week, not only in Cazalla: also in Campillo and Pulgara, have been registered of robberies and of frustrated attempts in just one weekend.

For all this, Sánchez Jódar again demands the Popular Party to fulfill their promise with which they presented to the Elections in 2007 and open "once" the local Police headquarters built in districts.

The councilor asked to assign a "permanent" rural police patrol to each of the territorial security centers they built in districts, and to equip the local police force with the means to carry out their work.

In this sense, Marisol Sanchez reproaches the Popular Party that "for many times they repeat it in the same press release, they will not really turn out to be a lie, and everyone sees: the hamlets of the districts are closed to lime and song ".
