The PSOE demands the Mayor to meet urgently the Local Security Board chaired by the Government Delegate to the continued thefts in districts (18/09/2017)

Sánchez Jódar once again calls for the reinforcement of surveillance and security measures to curb the continuous wave of looting of houses in pedanias in the orchard, and which has continued during this first weekend of fair with several thefts and frustrated attempts

The PSOE Deputy Speaker, Marisol Sánchez has demanded the current Mayor to meet urgently the Local Security Council of the municipality, chaired by the Government Delegate in Murcia, to address "immediately and without excuse" the situation of citizen insecurity by the constant robbery in districts.

Looting continued during this first weekend of the Fair, with several robberies in homes of districts and other frustrated attempts.

From the PSOE continue to consider "urgent and necessary" to address the serious problem by the wave of robberies that is taking place in districts.

The Socialist Deputy Speaker, Marisol Sánchez, points out that "we are not going to create more alarm than necessary but we believe that from the institutions it is necessary to take decisions on the matter in the face of the current situation, which happens firstly by the transparency and maximum information on what is happening, and the measures of protection and security that must be available in these cases ".

Sánchez Jódar denounces that while the current Mayor is still unable to give an "effective and immediate" response, the shards continue to camp at their widgets, putting in check the tranquility of the neighbors week after week.

In addition, from the PSOE they wonder where is the Delegate of the Government, maximum authority responsible in the matter of security, that continues without "giving the face" while the neighbors of pedanías have been mired in this "constant anguish".

The socialist mayor says that this situation is not solved by "words" but by "concrete and specific" measures, all of which go through addressing the neighborhood's concern and responding from institutions by making available to citizens the necessary human and technical resources, to combat this situation and calm their more than logical sense of insecurity.

Sánchez Jódar adds that it is also the agents of the security forces themselves who need these measures to reinforce security and vigilance, because due to the continuous cuts of staff and the poverty of technical resources that suffer "they do what they can, playing their daily life to protect us despite not having the necessary human and technical resources.

From the PSOE, as it can not be otherwise, they again offer the government team their loyal collaboration and willingness to work together in what must be a "sure and sure" job to address the insecurity that exists between neighbors of the districts.

Sánchez Jódar recommends to the current Mayor that the first step is the "urgent" call of the Local Security Board, with the "inexcusable" presence of the Government Delegate, the Popular Party.

The Socialist mayor assures that if the Mayor does not demand the Government Delegate who presides over this Security Board and "give face" to this situation "it is because he does not want" because, he recalls "they are comrades from the same party."
