The Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, together with the Councilor for Local Development of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, delivered this morning the awards of the IX Contest of Business Initiatives "City of Lorca" that organizes this area of ​​municipal management, and that this year have fallen to three entrepreneurs Lorca.

Specifically the first prize is endowed with 6,000 euros and has obtained the children's leisure center "Pequeland", which has become a key space for the celebrations and fun of the little ones.

The second with 4,000 euros has been for Peranoid, developers of the application "Multidud", a basic tool for the entertainment to cross borders idiomatic internationally.

And the third prize of 2,000 euros has been for the company "Terra Control Quality Management", which has transformed the traditional agrarian advice in a process in which the produce hortofrutícola travels directly from the garden to the market, with the guarantee of the quality as an intrinsic and indispensable value.

It should be noted that these distinctions are intended to cover 50% of the project's constitution or development costs.

Fulgencio Gil said that "this competition aims to promote and promote new business projects that contribute to the economic and social development of the municipality, while enhancing the business culture and promoting self-employment as a work alternative. through the Contest we give to the entrepreneurs of an economic aid destined to support their bet and that has to be a small push that helps them to reach new objectives ".

The Mayor of Lorca stressed that "from the City Council we will bet on those who want to learn because it is they who make Lorca a municipality of opportunities. I am convinced that public administrations have to be always on the side of entrepreneurs, listening to their needs , pushing their work and removing barriers.We have to continue to undertake, betting on good ideas, believing in them and putting them in motion, because only by moving we can move forward.

Lastly, Gil wanted to congratulate the winners for his example and to demonstrate to the new entrepreneurs that good ideas and work are the only fundamental ingredients for success. I hope that these distinctions, in addition to congratulations , also become an incentive for both the winners and the new entrepreneurs, and that is an extra motivation to continue consolidating our city as an example of business dynamism, a context of opportunities and productive synergies.
