Antonio Meca proposes not to vote against "if the Government Team agrees to accept a battery of proposals to improve the economic performance of the City Council and public companies."
The Councilman ensures that until now the Government Team "has turned a deaf ear to our initiatives documented and studied to optimize the economic resources of the municipal administration, which we have been doing for more than two years."
These proposals are among others:
Removal of the manager of Aguas de Lorca and review of the company's bylaws.
Elimination of minor contracts by finger, always asking for three budgets.
Elimination of interposed companies or screen.
Review of the competences of the manager of Limusa.
Management alternative for public deficit companies (San Vicente car parks, Huerto de la Rueda and now Pasarela), Lorca Taller del Tiempo.
Greater transparency in public procurement and in the selection of personnel.
Lower IBI (lower the rate until the cadastral values ​​are revised).
The work situation of musicians of the Municipal Band of Music is regularized.
"The disposition of this Municipal Group will always be constructive with sensible proposals, possible and beneficial for Lorca, we will be firm and responsible opposition in the negative and harmful, at the same time that impulse and support to the local government in their successes" adds the Councilman.
