The Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Adela Martínez-Cachá, today inaugurated a nativity scene of 80 square meters that has made the students of the CEIP Virgen de las Huertas de Lorca.
The nativity scene, totally handcrafted, stages in a didactic way all the passages of the nativity of Jesus arranged chronologically.
The work, directed and coordinated by the teacher Rafael Ruiz Castillo, has been carried out by students of the upper elementary courses, as well as teachers, parents, mothers and former students of the center.
The counselor congratulated all the participants and stressed that this type of initiative "promotes an education in values ​​aimed at achieving an improvement in the quality of teaching".
This nativity scene has been done for six years.
In the last edition he received more than 25,000 visits.
You can visit it in the Culture Hall of Cajamurcia, located in the Pío XII de Lorca street.
