The Councilor for Sports of the City of Lorca, Juan Miguel Bayonas, presented this morning with Miguel Angel Clemente, Big Brother of the Christ of the Blood of the Incarnate Step, Diego Peñas, president of the Youth Association of this brotherhood, and representatives of the Local Assembly of Red Cross Lorca the campaign to collect toys that are being made to benefit the most needy families.
Bayonas noted that "since last Friday, December 22 and until December 30, the Incarnate Step has organized a series of events with the aim of collecting toys for the Red Cross to distribute to children of the families most in need of Lorca "
The Edil de Deportes recalled that "by tradition the 'embodied' carry out a football match between the costaleros of Christ of the Blood, which a few years ago decided to add the collection of toys for the Red Cross Social Emergency Unit Lorca, organized by the Brotherhood of Costaleros of the Christ of the Blood and the Youth Association Paso Encarnado ".
During this week they are collecting toys;
Tomorrow Wednesday they will do it at the San Diego Shopping Center from 4:00 pm;
They can also be taken to the establishments in the neighborhood of San Cristóbal and Casa del Paso until this Saturday, December 30 in the morning, when at 12:30 a parade is planned by the Musical Association of Christ of the Blood from the Casa del Paso, along Calle Mayor, Puente Gimeno, Avenida Europa, Avenida Encarnado Paso, Ortega Melgares, until returning to Casa del Paso.
That same day, from 5:00 pm, at the Alfonso Embarre Soccer Field, the match will be played between the costaleros of the Cristo de la Sangre where they will be able to continue collecting toys for this charitable cause.
Since the Incarnate Step, Miguel Angel Clemente, Big Brother of the Christ of the Blood of the Incarnate Step has stressed that "solidarity is a hallmark of our brotherhood" and has recalled the day of blood donation made in collaboration with the Center Regional Hemodonation.
"We want to contribute to make these dates a bit happier for the youngest of the houses of the families most in need, providing our little grain of sand."
Finally, the Red Cross has once again applauded this type of initiatives of social collectives that "help us in our daily work" and have recalled that "at this Christmas time the whole society of Lorca is turning to the most needy, something that is to thank".
