Antonio Meca makes a balance of the year that qualifies as "exciting"
In the traditional breakfast with the press Mecca has made a summary of the main aspects of this year nearing completion.
"This 2017 has been our second full year, we have managed to get the government team to change its attitude and attend to and consider our proposals, I asked the Mayor for his will and I have to acknowledge that he has just demonstrated it with the managers of Aguas de Lorca and Limusa. "
The general characteristic of this Municipal Group has been to make sensible, possible and necessary proposals to correct the management of the municipal administration, especially in the economic sphere, where old practices that are harmful to the municipal coffers are observed.
"We continue to demonstrate that we are part of the impulse of government action for everything that is positive for Lorca and we will continue to be a firm, proactive and responsible opposition to improve those aspects that are negative."
As regards the institutional activity, 27 are the motions that have been presented in full, 18 of which have been approved, with matters of all kinds: economic, social, educational, judicial, equality, youth, etc.
In addition, the Government team received 31 requests and questions, which in many cases have not had a satisfactory response.
A similar case is the more than 70 writings requesting Mr. Mayor all kinds of reports, documents or actions in the work that citizens have entrusted us.
Unfortunately, in most cases there has been no response.
"Plenary agreements are another of the pending subjects: a large part of what is approved is not carried out and many times the subjects are parked on the table and there they remain for months or years."
Mecca has finished this meeting congratulating the parties to the professionals of the press, wishing them a splendid 2018.
