From 23 to 26 September, the site of Santa Quiteria of Lorca is decked out to welcome a new edition of FERAMUR, the Craft Fair of the Region of Murcia, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and gathers Lorca numerous professional artisans from various countries, divided into about 150 stand.
Among its attractions are once again, the live demonstrations that master potters of the "Association of Friends of Clay", made during the days of the show, this time craftsmen of Toledo, Zamora, Leon Almeria and show large and little skill and know-how on the lathe.
Also, visitors can admire the work of members of the "Mosaic Workshop" to the Department of Social Services City of Lorca, which show the hard work of this art, or the presence of artisans who recover vanishing jobs such as albardine made with esparto and showing miniatures and reproductions of antique furnishings.
Demonstrations will be held in the lounge that has become available for that purpose within the precincts of Santa Quiteria of Lorca, and the association "Friends of Bolillo de Lorca" will be doing lace work throughout the exhibition.
The glass also will be starring in the space devoted to live demonstrations of carving and engraving work during the four day fair will be doing the master Jose Reina.
Craft demonstrations are one of the most important sections of FERAMUR within their interest to serve the sector of vehicle information, since one of its main purposes is to show the public the hard work of those engaged in the world crafts.
A purpose that, year after year, makes one of the FERAMUR reference fairs in the world of crafts in Spain.
