Lorca City Council will end in a month and a half previous excavations to build the Artisan Quarter (22/09/2010)

The Consistory, thanks to agreements with the Community, will invest 20,000 euros in knowing the archaeological remains underground houses 40% of this lot remains to be excavated.

The mayor of Development explained that "the project involves building artisan district 10343.35 m2 distributed in two basements, which will house 112 parking spaces, ground floor and four other plants."

On the ground floor of the new Artisan Quarter is placed the four entrances to the Artisan Quarter, customer service, six craft workshops, room for interpretation of the crafts, coffee shop, two offices, conference room, toilets and a central plaza surrounded by a corridor creating a route covered as special around the square.

On the first floor are 17 craft workshops, three offices, store and toilets on the second floor there will be 10 workshops, two offices, the top floor of the auditorium and toilets, while the third and fourth floors will house a total of six offices and toilets.
