The candidate for mayor of Lorca by the PSOE, Manuel Soler, sent today at a public hearing, "a message of affection and solidarity" to Ecuadorians living in the city and expressed his support for President Correa, which met during his visit to the city three years ago and which he described as a "great president."
Manuel Soler, condemned "any attempt to overthrow the legitimately constituted government" in the Andean country.
At the wire, he was convinced that Spain will mobilize its diplomacy to end their revolt and constitutional legality remains in force in Ecuador.
The socialist candidate for mayor reiterated the show of support "for the entire socialist family" to the more than 7,000 neighbors of Ecuadorian origin residing in Lorca and are living "hours of anguish and uncertainty" yesterday after the police revolt that led to the abduction during several hours of President Rafael Correa.
