About the improvement works included in the Pibal being made in Mecca Street neighborhood of San Cristobal, municipal sources have clarified that this is a series of works not yet completed.
This road had, earlier, with 12 very worn and uneven steps, so that while the height of one of them could be 3 inches, the other was 8 or 12.
Also this step completely breached the rules of existing access, so the technicians municipal indicated the need for correction.
With improvements being made, the street will have a row of uneven and very steep stairs going to have two phases of steps at the same level and height to a rest area between them, a solution that will define a road comfortable, aesthetic and complying with regulations on accessibility.
Municipal sources have anticipated, moreover, that the street will be widened and extended, since the action includes the removal of a property interest as indicated by the General Plan Municipal Management.
