The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, has announced that the City Library for Children and Youth, in collaboration with the Regional Library of Murcia, is holding an activity of Promoting Reading to students from 3 and 4 ° of the ESO and Bachillerato.
As he detailed the mayor, "the show, called" Everything is in the books "is a play of 65 minutes based on literary texts, covering the best songs from the Golden Age until today."
This show will be held on Friday 15 October at 11 am at the Cultural Center.
Peñarrubia stressed that "thanks to the wide variety of genres that come together in the show," poetry, fiction, drama, music or songs, it manages to maintain a continuous and direct contact between actors and audience by making them partakers of the representation. "
Among the authors of literary texts emphasize the height of Lope de Vega, Calderón de la Barca, Gustavo Adolfo Becquer, Antonio Machado, Luis Cernuda, Rafael Alberti and Federico García Lorca.
The performance, by the group Aftalia Theatre, will be attended by 250 students from schools in Lorca.
