The City Council collects 18,000 kilos Lorca donated by businesses, groups and individuals for the Caritas Food Bank (23/12/2010)

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, thanked the involvement of Lorca and CECLOR, the Regional Union of Builders, Tecamur, Hefame, Saprelorca, Tanners Association, Farm Mari Pepa, Espinosa Pomares, Chamber of Commerce, AGROTAR, Limusa, Water Lorca, Eroski San Diego, Songs and Dances of Lorca, Partido Popular, Petrol Europe, "Campo de Lorca" Sacoge, Ciudalor, Alima, El Molino, El Andaluz Farms, Cars San José, Garcia Clemente, Restaurant La Peña, Capers Asensio, Merendero Padilla, distributions Lorca, Tretelco, Coalor, Step Pensioners Club Level and The Wire, as well as Andrés García Soler Colleges and turret in addition to the media.
