The new vehicle will serve users of the Association of Parents of Children with mental disabilities in the Shire of Lorca (APANDIS)
The director general of Transport and Ports, Carmen Sandoval, presented today a new vehicle adapted to the Association of Parents of Children with mental disabilities in the Shire of Lorca (APANDIS), in order to meet the travel needs of this group .
"With support for nonprofit organizations, the regional government wants to facilitate social integration and employment of people who need help developing their daily activities. In this case, the association APANDIS have the opportunity to offer its users the chance to participate in their programs with greater comfort and autonomy, "said the regional responsibility.
Thus, the new vehicle, which the Ministry of Public Works and Planning has funded with 14,680 euros, "will allow users to participate in occupational training centers and special use of the association, and provide coverage to associated persons so they can enjoy the recreational and leisure activities, "said Carmen Sandoval.
"The main purpose of these vehicles adapted to subsidize the Ministry is to eliminate the obstacles that can find people with special needs in carrying out daily activities, which ultimately is to help the training and personal development of every citizen of the Murcia Region, "concluded the CEO.
