National Police agents belonging to the local police station in Lorca, have arrested a woman and a man of 26 and 28 years old, respectively, both of Moroccan nationality and residents of Lorca, as the alleged perpetrators of the crime of murder attempted.
The facts giving rise to these arrests took home the 20th of January, when a Moroccan citizen appeared at the police station to report he had been assaulted by a partner who shared home.
After practicing the necessary steps to identify the perpetrators of aggression, it was found that they had left home, so investigations were initiated to try to identify, locate and arrest the perpetrators fully.
On day 21, about 15 hours, was received in Room 091, Lorca police station a call by a citizen who claimed to have found, bound and gagged at home, one of the people that lived.
After moving to the place a number of police officers, it was found that, indeed, in a room of the home was the woman who had denounced the attack on 20 January, with his hands tied to feet with duct tape and her head covered by a cloth tape coated with the same type.
Once freed from his bonds, the victim, who was in a precarious state of health due to the conditions of his detention, which would have lasted for several hours, was taken to a hospital by an emergency medical unit.
Once the victim attended, intensified efforts to trace the perpetrators of the attack, which paid off in the morning yesterday, when it came to his arrest in a street in the Barrio de Los Angeles de Lorca, and proceeded to transfer to a police station in order to carry out the actions necessary to clarify the facts.
The detainees will be made available to the magistrate on duty Lorca, in the coming hours.
