Isabel Cuadrado Torroglosa and Abou-Zeid Firas Nehme win first prize of 3 ° Storytelling Contest for Secondary Education "Award Angeles Pascual" (27/01/2011)

The jury of 3 ° Storytelling Contest for Secondary Education "Award Pascual Angeles" has given their opinion for the two categories in this contest, involving, students 1 and 2 of the ESO in Group A, and students of 3 rd and 4 th in Group B.

The award in the category of students of 1 and 2 of the ESO has been conquered by Isabel Cuadrado Torroglosa, the College of St. Francis of Assisi, with the story titled "The Wishing Well."

The second prize was awarded to the play "The Adventure of Paula", from White Pelegrín Sastre, alumna of the College Sun City third prize winner was Ricardo Díez Martínez, Colegio San Francisco de Assisi, a work entitled " autumn leaves reappear in spring. "

Also in this category have been finalists Carrion Ramon Rozas, the College of St. Francis of Assisi, with the play "My biggest dream" Marisol Mateos Delgado, also of the College of St. Francis of Assisi with the story "My true love" and Laura Berman López, City College of the Sun, with the story "The journey of my life."

In the students category 3 and 4 of the ESO, the first prize was awarded to Firas Nehme Abou-Zeid, a student of IES Martín Ibáñez, with his work "could have been."

José Morillas Jerez, a student of IES Sierra Almenara has obtained the second prize, while third prize went to the story "A lost soul," Marine Peñas García, IES Sierra Almenara.

Up to 88 stories of students from all secondary schools in the county have participated in this third edition of the event which honors Angeles Pascual, history professor of the institutes and Ros Martin Ibáñez Giner, Director of the Municipal Library for over 30 years and Adoptive Daughter of Lorca.

The jury of the contest, organized by the Municipal Network of Libraries of Lorca, was presided over by LA Pascual, and composed of José Joaquín Peñarrubia Manzanera, Councillor of Education and University of the City of Lorca, M ª Rosa Romero López, Professor of Literature IES "Sierra Almenara" José Tomás, Professor of Literature at the IES "Prince of Asturias" Pascual Pérez Navarro, Professor of Literature at the IES "Ros Giner," and Susan Torres Mora and Luisa M ª García Peñas, librarians.
