The Socialist councilor Marisol Sanchez today echoed the protests of residents of the boulevards of Europe, Santa Clara and Juan Carlos I and Lane Street Boilermakers, who have collected 1,500 signatures for the dismantling of a cell tower located at a building of this latter pathway.
Sanchez explained that the antenna without a license and that neighbors reported this fact in the City Hall last May 26 but so far "from the session has been made solution to this public health problem."
The PSOE mayor said the terrace where the antenna was placed even with the proper dimensions for such installation.
While he wondered what interests you are serving the PP in Lorca thereby ignoring the concerns of more than 1,500 residents.
Marisol Sanchez explained that this is not an isolated case and that the president of the Association of Residents of Los Angeles, Armed Forces, has also announced its dissatisfaction with the placement of another antenna on Calle Huertas Journalist Galindo, just 20 meters from Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The mayor explained that the antenna was placed in the month of August and at night, lest the neighbors might complain.
The socialist councilor said that in both cases, neighbors feel "abandoned" by the government team of Francisco Jodar, who demanded that drivers for the City Council, ex officio, withdraws from the antennas.
In any case, Sanchez said that if the Socialists get confidence in the municipal elections next May, "one of our first actions in these areas will respond to the demands of these neighbors.
