Has completed the process of preparing the electoral program which is presented UPyD municipal elections next May in Lorca.
As members of this program have made their proposals and amendments, a process that culminated today with the approval.
The mayoral candidate, Juan Manuel Cabrera, has met the various media and then explained the main lines that constitute the proposal that concur to the elections.
The campaign manager, Juan Francisco Romera, explained the main lines of the acts to be performed from now.
Direct contact with citizens and the use of social networking sites are the backbone of an austere campaign focused on the political debate.
Transparency, democratic regeneration and the promotion of citizen participation will be the UPyD bet as an alternative to other programs.
All this is reflected in proposals such as direct election of mayors, open electoral lists and salaries covered by common law throughout the administration.
These were some of the ideas presented by the candidate on the spot.
UPyD hopes in this election to get a representation that allows you to determine the municipal government and have already made a public commitment not to support any local or regional government to other parties if there is a great national covenant to be committed to electoral reform.
