The Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, presided at the Teatro Guerra Lorca, the opening day of the XVI Certamen Cultural and Sports partner for the elderly, which will run until November, with shows in Lorca, Cieza, Roldán (Torre Pacheco), Yecla, San Javier, Caravaca de la Cruz, Puerto de Mazarron Molina de Segura, Abarán, Cotillas Towers, Cartagena, La Unión, Murcia and Jumilla.

The event opened with drama, led by Senior Social Center of Murcia I; performance of the rondalla Sewell Center, and regional dance by the Centre de Molina de Segura.

Partners include Cajamurcia, through an agreement with the Autonomous Community, and all municipalities in which activities take place and the local police and Red Cross.
