The secretary general of the PSOE in Lorca, Diego Ferrer, and the secretary general of Socialist Youth in Lorca, Ana Belén Hilario, have condemned the use of violence by government forces in Libya in peaceful demonstrations produced in this country and that balances and three hundred dead.
In a statement, the leaders of the Socialist Party and Young Socialists in Lorca have denounced the repression and killings of civilians during demonstrations in Tripoli and Benghazi, among other cities and have moved their solidarity with the families and friends of the victims.
The PSOE de Lorca has asked the government of Moammar Gadhafi to stop using force in response to peaceful protests and to respect the rights of the Libyan people.
On the outbreak of protests in Libya and Morocco, from the PSOE de Lorca rely on the "democratization" of countries in the Arab world, including Egypt, have experienced conflict in recent days that aimed to eliminate regimes installed as that of Hosni Mubarak.
The Socialists have emphasized the importance of these countries initiate "democratizing changes" and they succeed.
Ferra and Hilario are both convinced that there is "a great democratizing impulse that we must support, understand and promote" in the Arab world, so are keen that everything goes with "moderation, wisdom and dialogue, and that movements are peaceful.
