The objective of this campaign, created by the City Council in collaboration with Maphre Foundation is to inform students of the rules to be followed by pedestrians, drivers and cyclists, and the behavior that must be maintained for the use of school bus
The Councillor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, Belén Pérez, has reported that the Road Plan for Education has launched the Local Police during the 2010/2011 academic year, inform students of city schools on standards to be taken in this matter.
Perez indicated that this activity is aimed at students from kindergarten, primary and secondary schools of Lorca.
In the case of institutes, lectures are conducted Road Safety Education for students at 1 and 3 of ESO, in order to improve road safety for children, awareness of the importance of traffic rules and knowledge, and the development of appropriate behavior patterns to prevent accidents or minimize these effects, especially for life and health of people.
The program covers all the Secondary Schools of Lorca.
Participating schools are institutes José Ibáñez Martín, Francisco Giner Ros, Ramón Arcas Meca, Prince of Asturias, San Juan Bosco, La Paca, Sierra Almenara, No. 6, Mother of God, St. Francis of Assisi and Ciudad del Sol Together, the actions of public safety will reach 2,112 students, with a teaching team consisting of Security Management Unit, which includes Cape and 4 agents 1.
In the course of the talks will be a screening of videos and teaching of theoretical discussions of road training on the following topics:

Road safety education lectures in 14 schools in the municipality
Public Safety The mayor said that in the case of schools, road safety education talks are aimed at students in kindergarten (4 and 5 years) and 5 th grade of primary school.
