The three roads connecting the hamlet with Lorca and the rest of the region together in the town of Totana Zarzadilla, which coupled with significant heavy vehicle traffic generated by having a large area for farming and livestock was essential construct a detour that would avoid the center of town.

So we started looking for investments necessary. We found the back of the Autonomous Region in this regard, and thanks to this collaboration we have managed to be improving this road is built the diversion that opened today. "

The Minister of Presidency stressed at the opening ceremony of the road the importance of the work for improving safety in the district, a claim that neighbors had been doing for some time and finally becomes a reality.

Description of works

Zarzadilla population of Totana and the environment sustains a high agricultural activity in the area lead to a heavy vehicles for both the supply of raw materials for farming, and the transport of livestock and other agricultural products are produced there .

The main terrestrial communications infrastructure of this hamlet, are through the C-11, Zarzadilla Totana C-3211 road and the road MU-503, Aledo, Totana Zarzadilla, taking both their common point at the center of this population.

Since the streets have a path unsuitable for heavy vehicles, and being the only means of connection, there is a problem of road safety, the vehicles have to maneuver within the urban area for access from a road to the another.

To alleviate this problem, and provide a much-needed infrastructure in this parish, has been seen as more optimal solution of a bypass opening to traffic, which prevent vehicles moving through the center of the population, especially for industry, which has resulted in the construction of a new ROAD FOR DIVERSION OF THE PEOPLE IN Zarzadilla de Totana.

The new road is planned to develop on the trace of an existing road in most of the route, which originates in the C-11, west entrance to town, with a recent stretch of about 240 m from the curve that has the traced to the confluence with the MU-503, at the height of the public scale, giving also access solution to this installation.

The total length of road is 850 m, running through terrain mostly flat and sloped nearly uniform, including a stretch of about 125m which is carried on an embankment.

For the specific speed of the section studied, it has limited the speed to 40 km / h, so that has been updated vertical signs in this stretch.

WITH THE C-11:

In this case we have adopted a conventional solution for this intersection, with an obligation to stop for vehicles that are incorporated into the C-11.

ADDITIONAL WORKS:
