Manuel Soler: "At this rate Jódar dismantle Lorca" (18/03/2011)

Jódar intends to stop paying the rent of the courts because it is under the Ministry of Justice but does not say 'mu' to the multiple services of the autonomous community that pays the City and account for 25% of the costs of the consistory

The socialist candidate for mayor, Manuel Soler, accused the mayor of the PP, Francisco Jodar, to "dismantle" Lorca, after it announced its intention to stop paying rent for the premises in which the courts are located.

Manuel Soler said that this decision aims only Jódar further fueled the confrontation with the Government of Spain, because "we have not heard Valcárcel required to assume the cost of many of the autonomous powers that are paying the City" .

The socialist candidate for mayor recalled that, among many others, the maintenance of local clinics and schools, including janitors, the home care services, aid to immigrants, the municipal school of music, Civil Protection, "are competences of the autonomous community we pay all of Lorca, but that does not say Jódar mu. "

Manuel Soler said that about 25% of expenditure takes place in Hall improper powers that reside in the region.

Therefore, the Socialist candidate Jódar only regretted that "vindictive" when it comes to "squeeze" the Government of the Nation.

On the courts, Soler said that the attitude of Jódar is "dog dog in the manger, who neither eats nor lets eat."

This is because the Ministry of Justice has spent years trying to negotiate with the city of Lorca the construction of a courthouse that brings together all the 70 officials in court and dependent on the Administration of Justice working in Lorca.

"A Jódar not like this option, but is that neither is doing nothing to solve the reunification of the courts in the historical district," said Manuel Soler, who said that "with this, as with the slaughterhouse and many other matters, not Jódar solved nothing in these four years.

The socialist candidate for mayor recalled that Lorca has long fought to expand services to citizens, and courts have the maximum possible and that it "is essential to collaboration between local and state government."

A partnership that will extend the regional government when it assumes the responsibility for Justice this year as planned.

In that sense, Soler Jódar regretted not understand anyone, "not even with his own party and all are complaints, lamentations, hardship and confrontation."
