Socialist Councillor Maria Sanchez has reported today the suspension of construction of Sutullena health center, part of the autonomous region.
Sanchez explained that the Health Ministry has not paid any payment to the company awarded the contract, budgeted at 6.5 million euros, which has caused operators and project managers abandon the work two weeks ago and even the town, where they lived temporarily in connection with the construction of this facility.
Sanchez said that the regional administration "has not paid a single hard" to entrepreneurs who have raised the center structure, and noted that negotiations with the company Health have been broken after the regional government deferred payments to June 2012.
It so happens that on 22 March, the center works were supervised by the Minister of Health, María Ángeles Palacios, who said the "Lorca Sutullena could be operational in early 2012.
Socialist Councillor has expressed outrage that in the meantime, the regional government of the PP itself diverting money to "lay" members of his party "with wages in excess of 4,000 euros a month."
The case of number four in the application of PP to the Municipal Elections, Luis Amador, who does little more than a month denying any connection with this party, the PSOE after its placement denounced "a finger" in the organizational management of Hospital Rafael Méndez.
Finally, Amador will attend the next local elections in a privileged position of the Popular Party list of Lorca.
"We want the same treatment to which the Cartagena or Murcia"
In his public appearance, the Socialist councilor Marisol Sanchez, also reported that patients in the Hospital General Universitario Rafael Mendez and his family, it takes about two weeks to know the result of a simple MRI.
This is because the service is outsourced and also during holidays and vacation periods are deferred diagnostic tests.
For Sanchez, it is inconceivable that the Rafael Mendez works as a giant outpatient rather than as a university general hospital.
The mayor called for "the same benefits enjoyed by the citizens of Murcia or Cartagena" because "we have the same dignity and rights."
