UPyD presented to the voters list that attends the upcoming municipal elections May 22. (01/05/2011)

More than two hundred members and supporters have participated in the presentation of local and regional candidates, which has participated Rafael Sánchez and Juan Manuel Cabrera.

Highlights from the list all with ordinary citizens, who have never participated in politics.

Lorca, April 30, 2011. Unión Progreso y Democracia de Lorca has presented at a public event to which were invited all citizens of the municipality, the candidates that make up the list of who attends this political party in the forthcoming elections 22 May.

The event has not only made the local list, but also of Guadalentín constituency, made up of people of Lorca, Aguilas and Totana.

The Act, which have come more than two hundred people, has been submitted by the candidate number two on the municipal list, Juan Francisco Romero, who has presented and given way to Rafael Sanchez Diaz UPyD candidate for regional president, who in turn has given way to Juan Manuel Cabrera, candidate for mayor of UPyD Lorca.

The mayoral candidate, Juan Manuel Cabrera, explained the main lines that constitute the proposal that concur to the elections.

Transparency, democratic regeneration and the promotion of citizen participation will be the UPyD bet as an alternative to other programs.

All this is reflected in proposals such as direct election of mayors, open electoral lists and salaries covered by common law throughout the administration.
