The Minister of Justice and Public Safety office, Manuel Campos, congratulated them on behalf of the regional executive to the staff who have participated in the emergency device and firefighters in the Region of Murcia for "the excellent work, sacrifice and dedication" to Lorca have developed as a result of the earthquake on May 11.
Fields visited the Lorca park firefighters and effective security device deployed at the camp located in the sports complex of La Torrecilla, after receiving the Silver Cross of the Civil Order of Social Solidarity in recognition of the work carried out since the earthquakes.
The director stressed "the professionalism, effort and spirit of sacrifice of all professionals who have participated since the first minute in the work of search and rescue and shoring work, rubble removal and sanitation fronts."
He stressed "the coordination of emergency thousands of troops who have successfully collaborated to meet the needs of Lorca."
The Minister of Justice and Public Safety said that these awards "credited further that the Region of Murcia has some exemplary emergency services when responding to a disaster as that experienced in Lorca."
