UPTA considered Murcia Lorca further cuts is not enough (16/06/2011)

The Union of Professionals and Self-Employed Murcia (UPTA) approves the measure taken by the government of Murcia, almost a month ahead the start of sales in the shops of Lorca, but considered timid and inadequate.

The autonomous homeless by the earthquake of Lorca have not yet obtained any specific support and are in dire straits.

According to the coordinator of UPTA MURCIA "is outrageous that the administration still has not taken into account self-employed because they are the engine of the economy of the city Lorca."

"It is urgent that both the Central Government and the Regional launch the measures which we have presented our organization," he continues.

UPTA aid MURCIA proposed are:

-In the case of profits, compensation to cover the monthly overhead of the self that are making losses.

- In order to avoid redundancies, a total exemption for Social Security payments during the suspension of contract workers, since the administration would work out much cheaper than having to pay compensation through the social fund.

-Instead of deferred fees autonomous, which eventually will have to pay them, it is imperative a total exemption, since they do not currently have independent economic activity are being deleted from the membership form RETA mass.

-Guarantees to finance the settlement of the damage while insurance are handled, so that the activity is not disrupted any longer than necessary.

-That no claim for the refund of subsidies that do not require suspending the autonomous activity within a period of time beneficiaries who have to close for reasons of the earthquake.
