Created a fund of 500,000 euros to support the normalization of trade and activity of the autonomous Lorca (27/06/2011)

The Minister of Universities, Business and Research office, Salvador Marin, the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, announced today at a meeting of the Bureau of Standards and Trade Facilitation in Lorca the launch of a fund crash to support the business and the self-employed of around half a million euros.

This measure aims to support the businesses most affected by the earthquake, to possibly contribute to the standardization of its business and has financial support from Mapfre-PECR Orona.

This fund helps entrepreneurs find solutions to the autonomous region while the central government negotiates with the inclusion of specific support to the business sector and trade processing as Decree Law Project for urgent action to repair damage caused by earthquakes in Lorca .

Marín said that "in the various meetings of the Bureau of Standards have been looking for solutions and one of the first shock is the fund, which provides temporary response to the demands that have been discussed."

To this end the Community and the City available to traders and freelancers half a million euros, which is also fueled by the economic contribution of Mapfre Orona-PECR.

The Minister stressed that "it is agreed as the first destination of the food market, for the normalization of this commercial and the rest of the money is distributed according to the proposed business organizations."

Also, the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, through its various bodies, still seeking agreements of public-private partnership to contribute in a fast normalization of activity in Lorca.

In this sense, also reported in the table the agreement reached with other companies, such as self-PECR Orona and Otis, to help those affected by earthquakes.

These two companies have agreed with the Department of Industry, Energy and Mines advantageous measures to repair the damage and help lift families returning to their homes and, therefore, to stimulate trade and urban proximity.

Specifically, the two companies undertake to repair the damaged lifts, while the communities of owners must pay a nominal fee of $ 300 until they receive compensation from the Insurance Compensation Consortium to address the entire repair bill.

Also reviewed other actions agreed in the Bureau and conducted by the Ministry of Universities, Companies and Research, as the work being developed with financial institutions Banco Santander, BBVA, La Caixa, Banco Popular, Banesto, Banco de Valencia, Bankinter , Cajamurcia, CAM, Cajamar IberCaja and Caja Madrid, with which they have negotiated loans, the creation of specific lines of liquidity by an appropriate amount to each case to be returned up to three years with one year grace period a two points lower interest than usual (12 months Euribor plus two points) and no fees.

In the Bureau of Standards in Trade Facilitation and involving the Community Lorca, the City Council, the Regional Confederation of Organizations of Lorca (Ceclor), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lorca and the professional associations of economists and Commercial Graduates.
