The councilman of Culture and Celebration of the municipality of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, has reported the launch of the summer film program, which under the nickname of "Summer of Cinema" has been covering in recent years much of the summer recreation the Lorca.

As usual, every Tuesday in July and August as part of the Plaza Calderon de la Barca from 22:00 h.

the inhabitants of our city can recover the experience of those film evenings with the multitude of "Summer Terrace" installed in our town cheered the nights of those hot days, updated on a schedule that reflects the best films that has been seen in our country in recent months.

Nine titles make up the selection of films that can be seen this summer 2011, starting next Tuesday, July 5.

As always, we tried to offer a global vision of good cinema and multinational that has left us last year, with production of British cinema, French, American and especially a good example of Spanish cinema.

And as we, we have tried to be well represented those genres preferred by the public: the theater of action, thrillers, westerns or melodrama.

Although this year, the comedy genre is the majority position in programming: up to five samples of this popular genre can be found in the selection, with examples hilarious - as is not so easy, Due Date and Death is the ugly - Other key romantic comedy in sophisticated - like a sweet lie - or mixing crazy comedy with melodrama more exciting - for the magnificent Concert -

Undoubtedly, the title stands out from the others is the big winner at the Oscars this year 2011, the king's speech, with four major trophies under his belt: best picture, best director, best actor and best screenplay.

An extraordinary drama about the need to overcome our limitations affecting both kings and common people.

Ordinary people are also featured in the intense story that the next three days, an absorbing thriller that drinks in the sources of Alfred Hitchcock himself, confirming the presence of good action films in this program, along with two new versions of two mythical western films and black films: True Grit, an affectionate homage to the classic film West Pelham Assault on train 123, an exciting new version of a reference into the cinema of thefts and robberies.

An offer wide range of quality film, in our opinion, endorsed by the inclusion therein of the best actors and actresses of the current film scene: Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Russell Crowe, Robert Downey Jr., Jeff Bridges, Audrey Tatou, Denzel Washington, John Travolta and also why not, Javier Cámara and Carmen Machi.

In short, we have tried to keep this proposal appealing, fun, exciting and quality with every summer we invite the citizens of our city to live and enjoy the satisfaction of sharing a cultural experience and entertainment so popular and loved as cinema.
