The Government of Spain has made available 78.5 million euros Lorca (12/07/2011)

These measures are divided into the following sections:

Ministry of Interior

Compensation of 162,000 euros to the families of the nine deaths (18,000 each).

Emergency expenses incurred by the city of Lorca in essential and urgent action to safeguard the lives and safety of people and the functioning of essential public services.

Include the costs incurred in cleaning access and roads, removing debris and shoring or demolition of buildings and elements that endanger the safety of persons (2.6 million euros available to date and extendable).

Ministry of Transport:

Rehabilitation works under the Cultural 1%:

° Works of consolidation of the Palacio de Guevara (937,392 euros).

· Restoration of the Wall-1st stage (EUR 64 622 488).

· Restoration of San Antonio Porch ('73 124 840 euros).

Emergency Works at the Church of San Mateo (979 000 euros), funded entirely by the Ministry of Housing and whose works have started this week with an expected duration of 10 months.

Works to improve the safety of tunnels and viaducts of the A-7 in Lorca (3,000,000 euros).

Ministry of Culture:

· Proceedings of emergency in the Tower of RAM (1.085 million euros)

· Restoration Parts Archaeological Museum (66,000 euros).

Is preparing the Master Plan for Cultural Heritage Recovery Lorca, in order to coordinate interventions to develop in the coming years.

Ministry of Education

Direct subsidies to the Autonomous Community for the repair of damage to educational infrastructures (2,000,000 euros).

Ministry of Industry

Repair works at the Parador Nacional currently under construction (5,000,000 euros).

Budgets included in the 2012 General Plan to support Reindustrialisation Special to the industrial and commercial Lorca.

Includes a direct subsidy of 1,000,000 euros and 12 million low-interest soft loans handled by ICO.

Ministry of Labour and Immigration

Pass on June 1 by the INSS for the advancement of extra summer pay retirees Lorca (9.2 million euros).

Emergency Works at the headquarters of the Inland Revenue (400,000 euros)

Works Emergency Care Center and Information Security (53.1000 euros).

Ministry of Finance

The Insurance Compensation Consortium has received 24,427 applications for compensation, of which 10,255 have already paid an amount of 53.5 million euros (data).

Interministerial Commission

The Government Delegate has pointed out that the Government of Spain agreed to streamline all the procedures of aid from the state, for which established an interministerial committee to coordinate the actions of their competitors.
