The City Council and the Autonomous Region have brought unemployment to 12 workers Lorca, who have charge of conditioning on trade, along with 2 other companies in our city.

The councilman of the City of Lorca Markets, Antonia Lopez, has announced that September 1 is open to the public the new food market will be located in the basement of the building number 3 and 5 of the Alameda de Cervantes, and will from Monday to Friday from 8 to 2 and from 18:00 to 21:00 hours and Saturday mornings only.
Lopez visited this morning the fitting of the new headquarters of the food market of the city, which has had to relocate it because of the damage suffered by the property they occupied until the earthquake of May 11 and has met the pleasure to finalize the details prior to the opening.
The mayor also reported that it will launch an information campaign to all Lorca have in this new business to their local grocers and buy always Lorca is also to help the recovery of the city.
Since the earthquake, by the City Council began the search for a retail space to gather the best conditions for the relocation of the plaza.
Finally there was a low bright and very spacious with 700 m2 of surface, which serves the interests of the pleasures of being located in a central location, which was marked by the needs of this group and the City Council.
All pleasures will have their own space in this new site.
The new headquarters of the food market is very close to Oval Santa Paula, in facilities that have previously been running different eating establishments.
Note that this area has been equipped for the pleasures of the city council's own resources, through the Special Program for Employment Plan for Lorca of the council of Employment.
This is a crew of 12 workers in trades such as masonry, locksmith and plumbing.
The refurbishment work began last June 15 and once completed, the pleasures are renovating their spaces.
The work already completed and contemplate the design of 30 "seats" for as many pleasures, among which include butchers, florist, fishing, harvesting the candy store, bakery, organic produce store and cafe, among others.
69,000 euros investment Plan to Promote Trade
In carrying out this work has had the participation of two companies Lorca, who have been responsible for improving the existing wiring and installation of air conditioning.
The investment has been completed the city council in excess of 69,000 euros, corresponding to different improvements in areas such as masonry, plumbing, paint and air conditioning, among others, and that fall within the Trade Promotion Plan adopted by the Solidarity table that manages the donations received by the Consistory.
