In every edition of the Sports Games of the paraglider Guadalentín becomes one of the most attractive activities, since this show brings together sports, adventure and equally striking.
One would expect the XVI National Meeting of Paragliding, that during the day on Saturday brought to 49 riders who crossed the sky of Lorca flights trying to make longer and more accurate.
In addition, after problems caused by wind during the last edition, this time the test was the weather in the face, allowing pilots to fly high quality and precision.
Peñarrubia departing from and arriving in the arena of the Sports Complex of La Torrecilla, held the tests for accuracy, high gain, stay in flight and female combined, try the latter who scored all the flights of the females throughout the competition.
From 11 am to 15.30 pm and from 18 to 20 hours, participants flew over to Sun City, at 21 hours, proceed to the awards ceremony.
How could it be otherwise in a test organized by the Elevation Paragliding Club and the Department of Sports, the turnout was very high, as 49 pilots were assembled in Lorca to participate in the test, many come from outside our region: Almeria, Alicante, Catalonia, Malaga and Madrid, and including some of the best drivers in the national ranking.
