González Tovar: "Every effort is too much for the Lorca who have lost their home" (30/09/2011)

The Government delegate asks Jódar be more rigorous in examining files as they are even easier than in previous earthquakes

The government delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, believes that "every effort should be made to the Lorca who have lost their homes and live in a precarious situation."

Therefore encourages local and regional governments to "make a greater effort than has hitherto been made for the benefit of citizens who are suffering."

As regards the Government of Spain has said that "there are the results of its management with more than 213 million paid to Lorca between compensation and aid."

It has also asked the City of Lorca that "more rigorous in its handling of files because otherwise it hinders the normal rate, and detrimental to aid those affected by delaying needlessly."

In this sense he said that "the processing is done today in the Government Office have far fewer requirements than those demanded for Palm Zarcilla earthquakes and Paca, as well as the Mule, so that the mayor Lorca returned to truthfully trying to excuse their errors by saying that "now demands more." The government delegation is ready to prove it and will do so publicly in the coming days this.

Tovar said that "loyalty among government starts telling the truth to the citizens, however, some argue that citizens should not know what is happening."

From the Delegation of the Government only has clarified what is the responsibility of everyone, before the mayor of Lorca statements blaming the Government of Spain that will not get aid to the residents of this municipality, which, as is now well shown, is false.

It has also indicated that some politicians in this region "are more interested in political confrontation in resolving problems, so it would be desirable to get to work hard instead of permanent mess which they have set this process" .

Finally made it clear that, contrary to what the Minister has indicated Sevilla, Lorca Plan was never approved by the Congress of Deputies, "because the People's Party did not dare to defend it."

However, it was unanimously approved draft a new plan from Lorca assessment report on progress.

This report was approved in a timely manner by the Interministerial Commission for the earthquake of Lorca, held on Wednesday September 27, the text will be presented in Lorca on Tuesday October 4 at the new Inter-Ministerial Committee to be held in the city .

That has no doubt the counselor and the mayor Jódar Sevilla, who from the Government Office are working tirelessly to get new aid for the city of Lorca and his neighbors.

Therefore calls on both political collaboration and not left alone in this task.
